Mansion of Bahjí

"Here Bahá'u'lláh lived the remaining days of His earthly life in a manner that was majestic yet simple, noble and modest. Although the harsh farmán of Sultán Abdu'l-Azíz remained officially unrepealed, it had become a dead letter. Bahá'u'lláh was still nominally a prisoner, but "the door of majesty and true soverignty were" in words of Abdu'l-Bahá, "flung wide open.""
